Panda Libre in Gilbert changes name to Kung Pow Restaurant

The restaurant formerly known as Panda Libre at 748 N. Gilbert Road, Gilbert, changed its name and concept Dec. 18 to Kung Pow Restaurant. A trademark infringement suit was brought against Panda Libre by a national Chinese restaurant chain. The restaurant now serves Chinese food, and the majority of its menu has been revamped, but owner Paul Fan said some of the Mexican-Chinese infusion items from the previous menu will come back in time. 480-507-0713. www.kungpowrestaurant.com
