HD South hosts food sustainability presentation

Chandler Gilbert Community College sustainability expert Kendra Stanger will educate HD South presentation participants Jan. 14 on food sustainability in the desert. 

Many things people can find in the desert can be used to make ingredients for some favorite foods.  

Stanger will also talk about using desert mesquite pods to make flour that can be used in making some of those favorite foods.
