Gilbert Public Schools has more than doubled the number of educators participating in its gifted teacher endorsement program as the district expands support for advanced learners throughout the district.
District officials said 106 educators are enrolled in the gifted endorsement program for the 2026-27 school year, up from 49 gifted-endorsed teachers at the beginning of the previous school year.
The program is designed to help teachers better identify and support a range of learning styles while providing challenging instruction for advanced learners.
