Cactus Yards invites baseball and softball players ages 7-14 to join Gilbert’s free local MLB Pitch, Hit & Run event and compete for an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2025 MLB World Series.
This event allows young athletes to showcase their baseball and softball skills in pitching, hitting, and running while being tested to accumulate points and move forward in the competition.
The top performers from this event will earn a spot in the Team Championship round, which will be held at major-league and minor-league ballparks across the U.S. and Canada.
Participant scores will determine how far they advance, starting with the local event at Cactus Yards, then advancing to the Team Championship, and ultimately competing at the MLB Pitch Hit & Run finals during the World Series.
The event will take place on May 15, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Cactus Yards and is only open to boys and girls ages 7-14.
Winners will get: an all-expenses-paid trip for themselves and one guardian, a complimentary 2025 MLB.tv subscription, exclusive virtual and in-person youth baseball softball programming, discounts on MLB-licensed merchandise and equipment and more.
