The Arizona Department of Health Services reported the number of COVID-19 cases in Goodyear was 2,517 as of Monday, Aug. 10, a 5.14% increase over last Monday and a 0.44% increase over Sunday.

COVID-19 cases in Goodyear have slowed significantly since July

The Arizona Department of Health Services reported the number of COVID-19 cases in Goodyear was 2,517 as of Monday, Aug. 10, a 5.14% increase over last Monday and a 0.44% increase over Sunday.
That represents a significant slow-down of cases since July 20, when the weekly increase was 18.52%. July 27’s increase was 13.71 and Aug. 3’s increase was 15.04%.
The agency said more than 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient’s residence:
