Carolina’s Mexican Food held a grand opening Feb. 24 for its fifth Valley location.
It’s in a north Chandler parking lot at 1972 N. Alma School Road, where a Carl’s Jr. used to stand.
The location will be the first Carolina’s with a drive-thru. The chain is billed as a “family-owned, fast-casual Mexican restaurant specializing in authentic Sonoran style,”
The first 1968 opening in downtown Phoenix led to what’s now a fifth generation in training.
The hours are Mondays through Saturdays, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., closed Sundays.
Call the Chandler store at 480-493-1020.
