Started in 2008, 16 Handles is currently in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Texas, South Carolina and Florida.

The name is a play on the song and movie title "Sixteen Candles." The chain has 16 rotating "handles" or flavors.

Those flavors included, as of Dec. 23, Arriba coffee, birthday cake and black matcha.

There are dozens of gluten-free, fat-free, reduced-fat, vegan and artisan options.

Party packages and catering are available.
