Two Chandler seniors get Dorrance scholarships

Posted

At least two high school seniors with Chandler ties were among the 60 need-based Dorrance Scholarship recipients in 2023.

Paris Estrada of Chandler High School and Daniel Ortiz Figueroa and Arizona College Prep both plan to attend Arizona State University.

Figueroa is the first Dorrance recipient for ACPHS, which opened in 2021.

The 60 Arizona seniors, who are the first in their families to attend college, will receive the scholarship award and program package, worth more than $100,000 over four years, and each will attend one of Arizona’s three state universities.
