Chandler-Gilbert Community College has received a $10,000 donation from Salt River Project’s Santan Generating Station to support student resource programs, including the campus Coyote Cupboard.
The Coyote Cupboard provides free nonperishable food, household goods, personal care items and school supplies to students. College officials said the donation will also expand emergency financial assistance for students facing needs such as transportation, utilities and housing.
The funding is expected to increase available food supplies and improve support for students with dietary restrictions and allergies.
