Six to stand trial in connection with Chandler robbery, assaults

Six men accused in a violent June 6 crime at a north Chandler home now have a collective trial date set.

Court hearings and filings for the six men have been frequent, but there is more case management to go before their six trials, set to begin on Feb. 16, 2027.

In June, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office issued a news release about charges from the June 6 incident. Jesus Sandoval, 18, Jorge Jurado Martinez, 17, and Kevin Tristan, 17, were all indicted on multiple charges in a June 6 “home invasion” near Elliot Road and Arizona Avenue, in which an elderly man was reportedly pistol-whipped and his daughter shot, authorities said.
