Continuing to allow the colocation of an ancillary Ponderosa Dispensary medical-marijuana facility, cultivation site and infusion food establishment near Chandler Boulevard and Price Road was recently approved by the Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission.
The commission voted 5-0 Aug. 21 on a consent agenda with other items to approve the use permit subject to the conditions as recommended by planning staff. Vice Chair Sherri Koshiol and Commissioner Kyle Barichello were absent.
A use permit was approved in April 2023 to allow for the colocation. Per zoning code, the use permit is valid for one year and may be renewed for another year by filing a use permit application, Associate Planner Darsy Omer said in a written memo to the commission.
