CityVet, a network of veterinarian-owned practices offering pet care, recently held a grand opening of its first clinic in Arizona.

Located at 3165 S. Alma School Road, Suite 23 in south Chandler, the clinic opened its doors Monday, Sept. 16.

The clinic offers a range of pet health services includes preventive treatments, diagnostics, surgical procedures, dental treatments, and advanced surgical options. A groomer will be coming on board soon.

CityVet Chandler will be led by local veterinarian Dr. Desirée Jordan, whose 18 years of experience in veterinary medicine was preceded by taking a year off from vet school to conduct pharmacology research funded by the National Institutes of Health.

Jordan was the attending veterinarian and clinical director in the veterinary technician program at Pima Medical Institute, where she worked for more than six years.

She has since embraced the opportunity of ownership with CityVet.

CityVet plans to open three more clinics in Arizona by the end of spring 2025.

CityVet’s network of 44 veterinarian-owned practices is headquartered in Dallas. Founded in 1999, the network includes clinics in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas, and Virginia that provide vet care, boarding, grooming, and healthy pet foods.
