The Chandler Police Department is hosting a free motorcycle safety class from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Chandler Public Safety Training Center.
Learn essential skills like braking, turning, and what to do in case of a fall to stay safe on the road.
The primary objective of the course is to educate the public on the safe operation of a motorcycle, according to a news release. The Department’s Traffic Unit members will administer and facilitate the course.
The class covers motorcycle safety and is open to all levels of experience. It’s free to attendees, sponsored by Dignity Health, the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and the Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation.
The Chandler Public Safety Training Center is located at 3550 S. Dobson Road in southwest Chandler.

The training is open to riders of all levels of experience. However, applicants must provide their own motorcycle and safety equipment and have the appropriate endorsements on their driver’s licenses.
Due to space constraints, only the first 22 applicants will be admitted. Anyone interested in attending the training should fill out an online application form and email it or mail it as per the instructions provided at the bottom of the form.
