Tostada la Cura is a tuna dish with ponzu sauce that's one of the many seafood items on the menu at Lomas Cocina de Mexico in downtown Chandler. The restaurant and bar is on the cafe side of the former LOOK Cinemas building now occupied mainly by Padeland.
Lomas Cocina de Mexico has opened in downtown Chandler in the front part of the building formerly occupied by LOOK Cinemas, on the southwest corner of Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard.
Padeland’s paddle and pickleball club has the rest of the former movie theater building.
Lomas' thorough menu includes chilaquiles, enchiladas and Sonora-style omelets for breakfast, along with lunch and dinner entrées that range from seafood and ribeyes, house-made tortillas for tacos, fresh carne asada and other grilled dishes.
There are several mezcal and tequila specialty cocktails at a full bar, along with beers on tap, aguas frescas and Mexican bottled sodas.
The hours are noon to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
