ELECTIONS 2024

Mendoza, Heap, incumbent lead Chandler school board race

Slight more than half of expected votes have been counted

Two challengers and the lone incumbent seem even more likely to secure Chandler Unified School District Governing Board seats after Saturday morning results reporting from Maricopa County Elections.

The same top three vote-getters have been ahead throughout most of this week’s vote reporting since polls closed Tuesday night.

Six candidates are seeking three seats in the district and voters choose as many as three candidates for the available seats.
