Sorimmara is an international chain of Korean mala eateries. Its third U.S. location is in the food court of the 99 Ranch Market on the northeast corner of Chandler Boulevard and Dobson Road in Chandler.

Mala is a spicy and numbing seasoning created by combining Sichuan peppercorn and chili.

Sorimmara customers get to choose their ingredients, which are cooked into a spicy broth. The prices are based on the weight of the specified ingredients and are sold by the pound.

The menu also includes shrimp, chicken or deep-fried pork in mala sauce. There’s also spicy rice cakes) and mala fried rice.

Sorimmara is in the same spot that was home to K-Monster Chicken.

The address is 1920 W. Chandler Blvd.

The hours are 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturdays through Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Thursdays and Fridays.

The chain doesn’t appear to have its own website or a phone number. Contact the store through the Facebook page “Sorim Mara Chandler.”
