Ted’s Hot Dogs was the focus of an early May groundbreaking involving the Chandler Chamber and a city council member.
Construction is finally beginning after nearly every type of imaginable delay, more than 8 years after an initial Chandler announcement.
The location will be near the northwest corner of Gilbert and Germann roads.
The chain opened its only non-New York state location in Tempe in 1983. It now serves hot dogs, sausages, and burgers cooked over hardwood charcoal, along with fries and some desserts.
Check tedshotdogs.com in early 2026 for progress on the opening.
