The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for several following overnight ramp closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. in the southwest Chandler area for maintenance work.
Monday (March 3)
• The westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) ramp to eastbound Interstate 10 (Maricopa Freeway) will be closed. DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking southbound Price Road to westbound Queen Creek Road to access eastbound I-10.
Tuesday and Wednesday (March 4 and 5)
• The eastbound Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed. o DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking northbound 40th Street to eastbound Chandler Boulevard to access westbound I-10.
Thursday (March 6)
• The westbound I-10 ramp to westbound Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) will be closed. DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking westbound Chandler Boulevard to southbound 40th Street to access westbound Loop 202.
Closures the week of March 10-13
• The eastbound I-10 ramp to westbound Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday, March 10, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 11.
• The eastbound I-10 ramp to eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., starting Tuesday, March 11, and ending the morning of Thursday, March 13.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
