The final two of this year's six headlining artists for Chandler's largest annual event have been announced.
Country music solo artist Breland will headline Sunday, March 16 and Natasha Bedingfield will headline the main stage on Saturday, March 22 at the 35th annual Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler, according to news releases.
Breland's 2022 debut album, "Cross Country," includes duets “Throw It Back” with Keith Urban and “Praise The Lord” with Thomas Rhett, along with the hit “For What It’s Worth,” and the title track “Cross Country.” In 2023, he released “Boots Don’t” featuring Shania Twain as part of the Grammy-nominated "Twisters: The Album."
Breland was named an Amazon Music Breakthrough Artist in 2022 and claimed the ACM Lift Every Voice Award at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Honors. As a member of the U.S. Global Music Ambassador Program, he focuses on using his platform to support efforts promoting global peace through music.
Bedingfield has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Her 2004 debut album, "Unwritten," achieved some success and her 2006 follow-up album featured the hit single “Pocketful of Sunshine.”
She has been nominated for multiple awards, including a Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Brit Awards for Best British Female Artist in 2005 and 2006 and various MTV Video Music Awards and World Music Awards.
Breland and Bedingfield will be joined by four other night headliners, as the Ostrich Festival will be spread across the weekends of March 14-16 and March 21-23 this year.
Additional headlining acts announced for the festival include Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers (Friday, March 14), The Fray (Saturday, March 15), “norteño-sax genre” Mexican performers Los Rieleros del Norte (Friday, March 21), and country star Tyler Hubbard (Sunday, March 23).
Additional entertainers include the band American Authors, known for their hit single, “Best Day of My Life,” who will open for Bedingfield on March 22.
Friday, March 14 is “Chandler Community Day” at the festival, when discount rates apply to city residents.
Tickets are on sale at OstrichFestival.com and start at $20 for ages 5 through 12, $30 for general admission adult tickets, and $150 for VIP tickets. Festival entry for children four and under is free.
