Students at Galveston Elementary in Chandler have found joy in the daily antics of “Ralph the Elf.” Ralph encouraged learning math and reading skills, while also galivanting around campus in his new "sleighs" —namely, a bulldozer and a dinosaur.
Students at Galveston Elementary in Chandler have found joy in the daily antics of “Ralph the Elf.”
As McCarthy Building Companies' construction team members wrapped up their time at the newly reimagined school campus, according to a news release,
Ralph magically appeared in the team’s office each day and encourages excellence in study habits sprinkled in with a little mischief.
McCarthy recently completed a 53,000-square-foot, two-story classroom building; a 7,000-square-foot administration building; and a 21,000-square-foot multipurpose gymnasium facility at Galveston.
“I want to express my gratitude to McCarthy for their exceptional work in rebuilding our beautiful school," Galveston Principal Tony Alcala said in the release. "Beyond the impressive construction, McCarthy has truly embraced our school community. Their daily changing elf display has become a favorite among our students, bringing joy and excitement to every school day. This creative touch is just one example of their commitment to going above and beyond for Galveston students. Thank you, McCarthy, for creating a beautiful and inspiring learning environment for our students."
