D.R. Horton Purchases office building along Chandler’s Price corridor

D.R. Horton, one of the largest homebuilders in the U.S., has purchased a 41,000 square-foot office building along Chandler’s Price Road technology corridor to expand its local operations.

Located at 1890 S. Price Road, the building is where D.R. Horton is beginning tenant improvements this month and plans to complete their office buildout by April 2025, according to a news release.

Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke praised the city’s Economic Development team. D.R. Horton’s Brent Davis, the company’s Phoenix East Division president, praised Chandler city staff for their help.

“We are excited to have a permanent home for our Phoenix East Division within the City of Chandler,” Davis said. “1890 S. Price provides a convenient location for our team members as well as great access to all of our East Valley communities.”

D.R. Horton will share the same campus as Yield Engineering Systems, a full-building semiconductor supplier in 2022. The Price Road-area campus, one office building at 1900 S. Price Road remains available for occupancy.

The building has been fully renovated with new mechanical systems and spans 76,398 square feet across three floors, the release states.

A grand opening celebration for D.R. Horton is planned for summer 2025.
