Posted

The Sonoran Sunset Series returns to Veterans Oasis Park in south Chandler in another season of free outdoor concerts.

The series, which began Oct. 15, and is planned for 6-7:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the next several months, invites those who appreciate multiple types of music, and their families to enjoy an evening under the sky while listening to local performers.

The variety includes folk, rock, indie and alternative sounds, according to a news release.

The Nov. 19 performer will be Dean Nelson, followed by “What’s Left” on Dec. 17, “Radio Replay” on Jan. 21, “Pick & Holler” on Feb. 18 and “Traveler” on March 18.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs, along with snacks and beverages in small coolers, to enjoy the evening comfortably.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Veterans Oasis Park is located at 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road, adjacent to the city’s Nature Center.
