The city of Chandler’s Golden Neighbors program is hosting a birthday celebration in honor of the program’s fourth year of serving Chandler’s senior residents.
The city of Chandler’s Golden Neighbors program is hosting a birthday celebration in honor of the program’s fourth year of serving Chandler’s senior residents.
The celebration will be held Thursday, May 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Chandler City Hall courtyard, 175 S. Arizona Ave.
Chandler’s "golden" community is encouraged to join the celebration and meet staff from multiple city departments to learn more about their services and resources.
Attendees can enjoy refreshments, the company of fellow golden neighbors, birthday cake and a free bag filled with household supplies.
Free parking for the event is available in the surface lot north of City Hall or in the nearby parking garage at 240 S. Washington St.
The Golden Neighbors program was created as a resource to connect Chandler golden seniors with services offered by the city and local partners and to help create community.
