Chandler’s Family Easter Celebration is a free event taking place 5:30-8:30 p.m. March 29 at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park: Stage Plaza, 178 E. Commonwealth.
The 24 Karrot Trail will highlight the evening, providing children 9 years of age and under the chance to fill their Easter baskets with eggs filled with candy or prizes.
Every family who attends can enter to win a free drawing for a filled Easter basket, according to the city. The drawing will be at 7:40 p.m., and the winner must be present to win.
Free carnival games and inflatable attractions, a prize wheel, performances from local groups and photos with the Easter Bunny are on tap, too.
Merchandise, food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
