Chandler zoning board meeting OKs showroom, industrial building

A development plan to build a Floor & Décor showroom building and an industrial “flex” building at Germann and Cooper is one of the few items on the Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission approved at its March 20 meeting.

There weren’t many items on the agenda for the March 20 Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission regular meeting.

That made for a usual short meeting — after a lengthy study session.

The board needed less than five minutes to approve a short consent agenda at the meeting. The short duration was a contrast to the board’s previous meeting, when the QuikTrip redevelopment plan led to almost 90 minutes of resident, developer, city staff and board discussion before a vote.
