Chandler women’s a capella chorus seeks to boost membership

Guest night / call for volunteers set for April 17

Posted

The members of Vocal Connection, a women’s a cappella chorus in Chandler, are actively searching for women who sing and long to perform to join a growing group of other like-minded East Valley residents.

The chorus sings a variety of music genres including Jazz, Pop, Rock, Disco, R & B and Country in four-part acapella style.

Their goals include singing the National Anthem at local events and to perform at community events and for companies, organizations, resorts, and senior facilities needing entertainment. Also, Vocal Connection is preparing for their own shows to be held late summer (with a patriotic theme) and fall (holiday-themed).

If you are a woman interested in learning more about Vocal Connection and how you can be a part of these exciting performance opportunities, plan to attend a free guest night. It will be held at Seton Catholic Prep, 1150 N. Dobson Rd., Chandler, Monday, April 17, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Attendees need to be able to sing but they do not need to be able to read sheet music to join. Vocal training and music education are valuable components of the members’ many benefits.

Pre-register for guest night by emailing guestinfo@vocalconnection.org. Someone will provide additional details and make sure your name is on the list for pre-registration.
