The Chandler Unified School District’s annual High School Art Showcase is open at the Vision Gallery at the Chandler Center for the Arts near Downtown Chandler through Tuesday, May 13.
This exhibit features more than 100 works of art by district student artists from Basha, Hamilton, Perry, Arizona College Prep, Casteel, and Chandler high schools, according to a news release.
From ceramics and photography to paintings and handcrafted jewelry, these talents offer a glimpse into the voices and visions of the next generation. The show is more than a display — it’s a celebration of student expression and the transformative power of arts education, the release states.
Award-winning pieces are featured prominently and the exhibit is free and open to the public. Student awards were announced at an April 30 ceremony.
The Center for the Arts and the gallery are located at 250 N. Arizona Ave., just north of Chandler Boulevard.
The Gallery at the Chandler Center for the Arts is curated by Vision Gallery as part of the Cultural Development division of the City of Chandler. It's managed by the Chandler Cultural Foundation and hosts six to eight exhibitions per year
