Chandler raffle winner has plans

Director of alternative school remembers late brother's advice

Janeen Scaringelli celebrates receiving the $20,000 Chandler Education Foundation Winner’s Choice Raffle prize while pointing to her Major League Baseball stadium map. The Chandler community raised $124,810 to support local students through this year’s Chandler Education Foundation Winner’s Choice Raffle, according to a news release.

The annual fundraiser creates scholarships for graduating seniors and helps fund programs across all 48 schools in the Chandler Unified School District.
