The Chandler Police Department announced May 16 it had arrested an East Valley pediatric dental assistant and has charged him with multiple crimes against children, according to a news release.

Deion Alexander Garcia, 27, is charged with 14 felony counts. Police said he committed the crimes against youth who were patients at his place of employment.

Garcia's charges include 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and four counts of molestation of a child.

The victims, according to police, the victims were all patients at the Kidiatric Dental & Orthodontics location near Chandler Heights and Arizona Avenue. Garcia also worked at the dental office on Warner Road in Gilbert.

Garcia was taken into custody on May 10.

Chandler Police said the investigation is still active and ongoing. The release said if anyone has reason to believe a child might be a victim, contact the Chandler Sex Crimes Unit at 480-782-4494.
