The city of Chandler will honor military veterans at two events in early November.
Friday, Nov. 8, active and retired military service members and their loved ones are invited to the 4th Annual Military Appreciation Breakfast. Attendees can enjoy a presentation of colors, entertainment, information about community resources and a complimentary breakfast.
The free event will be held at Chandler Community Center, 125 E. Commonwealth Ave., from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Each registered veteran can bring one guest. General public registration will open on Nov. 4.

Next, on Monday, Nov. 11, the city will host the annual Veterans Day event at the patriotic Field of Honor,
The Field of Honor is located within Veterans Oasis Park at 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road. Free parking is available on-site.
The celebration begins at 5 p.m. with acknowledgments recognizing our local heroes.
