Celebrate Independence Day on Friday, July 4  in Downtown Chandler and enjoy a pyrotechnic show, live music, yard games and food vendors.

This year, there will be a 15-minute pyrotechnic show as part of the concert. The show will begin at 8:15 p.m. at the Dr. A.J. Chandler Park Stage Plaza.

"Outside the Line" will be the live entertainment band. The Arizona variety band has a song list that spans Motown, pop and classic rock, soul and top-40.

Family-friendly activities will include yard games Connect 4 and checkers. Balloon art and glitter temporary tattoo art will be available for children, free of charge.

The first 400 people who visit the information booth can receive a coupon for a free cool treat from one of the participating food vendors, including bottled lemonade, ice pops and ice cream sandwiches.

The information booth will also hand out free raffle tickets. There will be a raffle drawing for six themed gift baskets at 8:10 p.m. Winners must be present to win.
