Chandler music fest showcases Mexican regional music

Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28, Wild Horse Pass will host an event called Belicofest that will highlight Mexican regional music.

This festival, dedicated to the genre of “belico corridos,” has a lineup of artists active in the Mexican regional music scene. It will feature headliners Junior H, Luis R. Conriquez, Gerardo Ortiz, Oscar Maydon, Blessd and many others.

Belicofest will be held at Wild Horse Pass Festival Grounds, 19593 S. 48th St., Chandler, located between Firebird Motorsports Park and Rawhide Western Town.

The muusic will be played alongside a variety of local food vendors and art installations.

 A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit organization Chemo Companions, which provides support to those battling cancer. For more information about Chemo Companions, visit chemocompanions.org.

General admission tickets for Belicofest start at $99. VIP tickets start at $199.

VIP tickets will include express entry, a premium view of live performances, unlimited access to the VIP lounge with seating and shade, a private bar and dedicated restrooms.

Platinum VIP tickets start at $499.
