The 2026 Disability Awareness Awards are now accepting nominations to celebrate people and organizations who champion inclusion and positively impact Chandler’s disability community.

Recipients can receive a one-time award of up to $1,000, paid directly to the institution or towards the reimbursement of approved supplies.

Approval is based on academic achievement, leadership and a demonstrated commitment to their field of study or service.

Scholarship applications are accepted through March 31, 2026 with funds awarded to selected applicants as early as June.

In addition, the 2026 Disability Awareness Awards are now accepting nominations.

Nominations are free, open to Chandler’s residents and due by Friday, Jan. 30.
