Chandler mayor recognizes National Planning Month

Posted

The city of Chandler’s Planning Department recently received a proclamation from Mayor Kevin Hartke, commemorating October as National Planning Month.

Hartke, accompanied by Chandler City Council member Christine Ellis, read the proclamation to Chandler Planning Administrator Kevin Mayo and staff at an October meeting.

Mayo read a random sampling of some of the odd types of questions posed to the department, such as “Can I run a body-donation business out of my Chandler home?”

The team was thanked for its hard work in helping with the wide variety of steps that are a part of city planning.
