Chandler marching band raising funds for Hawaii parade trip

Posted

The Basha Bear Regiment, Basha High School’s marching band, is raising funds for a trip to Hawaii to perform in December.

The band has been invited to perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade on Dec. 7 in Honolulu. In order to reduce Basha families’ high travel and lodging , the band is asking the community to contribute to its fundraising effort.

On Friday, April 14, band members will be hosting a fun night of music, snacks and treats, a silent auction, and a 50/50 Raffle to help raise money. The public is invited to attend this event.

The band boosters are offering four scholarship donation levels, ranging from $100 to $500. Depending on sponsorship level, VIP seating and/or free entry into the April 14 music event may be included.

Thos who cannot attend the April 14 event can still donate by completing and submitting a check payable to Bash Band Boosters. The Venmo app account @-BashaBand-Boosters can be used to send donations digitally.

The link to buy online tickets is bashaband.com/ohana.

Questions and requests for forms can be directed to Boosters vice president Travis Breedlove at 480-390-7613 or BashaShowHost@gmail.com.

Basha Band Boosters is a 501(c)3 group under Chandler School Boosters. Contributions are tax deductible. A receipt with Tax ID can be provided upon request.
