The Ocotillo Brine Reduction Facility is operated by the city of Chandler for Intel through a public-private partnership.
Chandler officials, including Mayor Kevin Hartke, council members O.D. Harris, Christine Ellis and Jennifer Hawkins and Public Works & Utilities Director Jeremy Abbott, and Intel officials were at a Feb. 20 event commemorating 30 years of the partnership.
The arrangement was the start of a long-standing beneficial relationship between the city and Intel that continues today with collaboration and cooperation, according to a news release.
