"From fighting fires to changing diapers" is the slogan the Chandler Fire Department used for one of its recent social media posts.

The department had 19 firefighters welcome babies into their families 2024. With a frontline staff of about 250 firefighters, that's nearly 10% whose families grew within the past year.

About 14 parent-firefighters and their young ones -- one with twins -- recently gathered for a rare type of group photo.

"This will be cherished for the next 25 years," Chandler Fire wrote in a post.
