AvAir, an inventory solutions provider for the aviation aftermarket located in Chandler, recently announced Zach Hall, vice president of business development, has been named one of this year’s 40 Under 40 by Airline Economics.

Each year, Airline Economics recognizes the best and brightest young talent in the aviation finance and leasing community with its list of the foremost 40 individuals aged under 40 years of age. In addition to the nomination questions, each application arranges for endorsements from industry executives.

While Hall’s aviation career has only been six years, he has made an impact as he constantly seeks new and innovative ways to grow AvAir’s customer base and inventory offerings, according to a news release.

Through various asset management agreements and parts package acquisitions, Hall has helped AvAir grow, the release states.

Hall leads the global business development team as the vice president of the division. The team continues to grow customer reach among mainline and regional airlines, cargo airlines and leasing companies internationally.

Hall was promoted to director of business development at AvAir in 2019 then promoted to VP of business development in 2022.

Hall has served as the keynote speaker at various community and industry events, including class of 2023 Phoenix College commencement ceremony and several 2023 and 2024 trade events.

Hall is also actively involved in his community, the release states. This year, he will begin his two-year term as honorary base commander for the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base, where he was born and raised.

He is a founding board member and past president of the board of the State Forty Eight Foundation and regularly gives his time to other nonprofit boards and charities.
