The city of Chandler and the Be A Mushroom, or BAM Foundation are partnering to host the Saturday, April 12 Road to Riches Car Show.
This free community event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chandler City Hall parking garage, 240 S. Washington Street in downtown Chandler.
Attendees will see show cars ranging from vintage beauties to souped-up muscle cars with a deejay’s music in the background.
There will also be food trucks and stations to learn about community nonprofits.
Those interested in showing off their ride can register online at Road to Riches Car Show online at this link to secure spots.
The registration fee is $25 per car or $40 per car with an event T-shirt.
Proceeds will benefit the Chandler Public Housing Authority’s Road to Riches program.
Community nonprofits interested in having an informational booth during the event can email info@beamushroom.com to participate.
In the fall of 2024, the city’s Housing and Redevelopment Division partnered with the BAM Foundation and Money Vehicle to launch free financial literacy workshops to City of Chandler’s public housing youth residents and participants enrolled in Chandler’s Family Self Sufficiency program.
The FSS program will continue throughout the year to benefit Chandler low-income families working to overcome financial challenges, build sustainable wealth and reduce and/or eliminate the need for public assistance.
For more information about the car show, contact event organizer and Be a Mushroom BAM Foundation Founder Jerome Daniels at 602-768-3394.
