Garden supplies, donated by Jewish War Veterans Copper State Post 619, will be used by the Phoenix VA Phoenix Medical Center as an alternative therapy for patients recovering from substance abuse.
On hand to take photos as part of a presentation held in May was Carol Tucker. She’s a U.S. Army veteran who is a Phoenix V.A. peer support specialist, meaning that she has dealt with substance abuse herself.
Also on hand for the presentation was Gabe Forsberg, the Phoenix V.A. representative for Jewish War Vets Post 619, and Dustin Delcoure, director of Phoenix V.A. Voluntary Services.
