Southern Steer plans to open a location soon in the center on the southwest corner of Alma School and Queen Creek roads, near Keegan’s Grill and The Casual Pint of Ocotillo in south Chandler.

The butcher-and-more store chain has locations in Gilbert and Surprise.

Signature boxes for sale include a Wagyu beef option. Classes are taught on-site for charcuterie, meal prep and dry aging.
