PHOENIX – No full closures are scheduled for freeway improvement projects in the Valley this weekend as state transportation officials advise drivers to prepare for driving on wet roads.
But that doesn't mean anyone who has to use Loop 101 or 202 in Chandler area shouldn't still check az511.gov for long-term or other planned ramp closures.
“Do not drive into areas with standing or flowing storm runoff. It is important to stay alert and avoid distractions when behind the wheel. Buckle up and never drive while impaired,” an Arizona Department of Transportation release stated.

The eastbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Arizona Avenue in Chandler was schedueld to close for about 60 days starting at Thursday night, Oct. 9.
