Kyrene School District had 25 of its district schools placed among the best elementary and middle schools in Arizona in the U.S. News & World Report 2025 Best Elementary and Middle School Rankings.
U.S. News & World Report creates these rankings each year, assessing individual schools on the number of students who were proficient or above proficient in their math, reading and language arts state assessments.
“Half of the formula assessed the scores themselves and the other half incorporated the test results in the context of socioeconomic demographics,” according to the U.S. News & World Report website.
