The Mesa City Council voted 7-0 to approve a more than $3.7 million contract to provide two new vehicles for the fire and medical departments during its Feb. 24 meeting.
According to council documents, this will be a Sourcewell cooperative contract with Rev Group Inc. for an E-One Titan 4X4 Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Vehicle as well as an E-One 95 aerial platform.

“Both vehicles will replace older units that have met the end of their useful life and are part of the city’s capital replacement schedule,” council documents state.
According to council documents, the $3,703,000 contract will run from Feb. 24, 2025 to Feb. 10, 2026. The contract will be funded by 2022 Public Safety Bonds.
