Posted

Watch movies under the stars during CinePark, the city of Chandler’s annual family-friendly movie series.

Tumbleweed Park will be the site for this free event on three consecutive Friday evenings, May 2, 9 and 16. Movies will be shown on a large outdoor temporary screen in the park’s amphitheater.

Come early to find a place on the lawn. Attendees can bring blankets, chairs and snacks  or purchase food and beverages from vendors such as Jaspez Island Fusion Cuisine and the Harkins Popcorn Truck.

No alcohol or glass containers are permitted.

There will be free movie-themed activities prior to each show, starting at 6:30 p.m. Movies begin promptly at 8 p.m.

The films scheduled  are “The Wild Robot” on May 2, “Wonka” on May 9 and “Moana 2” on May 16.

Tumbleweed Park is located at 2250 S. McQueen Road. The closest parking is at the south end of the park, near the Tennis Center.
