Mitsuko Nevin, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on March 12, 2022 at age 85. She will rest in peace alongside her husband of 63 years, Carleton Arthur Nevin, who died March 20, 2019 at age 86. Mitsuko is survived by her son Gene, and three grandchildren born of her daughter, Linda Lou Ruiz, 64, who died December 22, 2021. Mitsuko, born in Japan, met Carl, a native of North Tonawanda, New York, while he was stationed in Okinawa. Carl retired as an Army Chief Warrant Officer in 1973. The two spent their post-military years in Maryland before retiring to Arizona in 1989. Their final resting place is the V.A. National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. They will be forever loved and missed.
