A 16-year-old boy who was found with serious injuries late Thursday on a San Tan Valley road has died, authorities said.
The boy was found about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 1 on Murray Grey Drive near Empire Boulevard and Gary Road, according to a Pinal County Sheriff’s Office release. He was airlifted to a hospital where he died, PCSO officials said Friday.
Detectives investigated and questioned three boys, all of whom were released as the investigation continues. All of those involved knew each other, officials said.
