Burhop: Should care about health, not nationality

As a Republican, I am puzzled at Rep. Debbie Lesko’s stance on who should get the COVID vaccine.

I believe the concept of “herd immunity” was first mentioned by former President Trump. Yet, Rep. Lesko says “The shot should only go to American citizens.”

Are non-citizens not a part of the herd? This makes no sense. I am not a doctor, but the overall herd being vaccinated would certainly benefit all people, citizens or not.

I guess Rep. Lesko is not a doctor, either.
