Zientek: A message of thanks to George, the good Samaritan

Posted

I hope that a very kind and generous gentleman named George from Fountain Hills sees this letter.

My bike chain slipped off its sprocket as I was riding along the McCormick Ranch path on Friday afternoon, March 8. George noticed me struggling to fix the problem as he was riding by with his group and stopped to help me.

In spite of the fact that we were complete strangers, George had no hesitation helping me get that greasy chain back on the sprocket. Our hands were filthy when the job was done! I was so grateful for George’s help but didn’t have the opportunity to properly thank him.

George, I hope that you or a friend in your riding group sees this letter. It’s heartwarming to know that there are good Samaritans in this world. I hope to see you on the trails soon so that I can personally express my gratitude once again.
