Walmart Surprise Market stages big event for re-opening

Walmart Surprise Market, 15431 W. Greenway Road, brought out the cheer team, spiritline pom team and marching band from Valley Vista High School for the grand re-opening ribbon cutting ceremony on April 5.

Surprise Store Manager Kim Schmitz participated in the ribbon-cutting alongside Mayor Skip Hall and Councilmember Chris Judd.

To mark the occasion, the retailer donated $1,000 to Billy’s Place and $500 to Western Peaks PTSA.
